This mornings satellite image of Greenland shows patches of medium and high level clouds over the greatest parts of Northern Greenland. Looks lik,from tomorrow onwards conditions will gradually deteriorate.
30/07/10 - day 1
- Wind: S to SSW 3-7kt after 15/18utc S to SSE 5-10kt
- Weather: ground fog and cloudy to very cloudy with patches of Alotstratus, after 12utc conditions improve: more sunny spells and temporarily disappearing of the fog. After 21/24utc again formation of ground fog.
- Temperature: Min06utc=-16°C dayMax(18utc)=-6°C
31/07/10 - day 2
- Wind: S to SSW 7-12kt, after 12/15utc becoming SW 5-10kt.
- Weather: ground fog with Cirus/Cirrostratus, clearing after 9utc. After 18/21utc thickening cloud cover + formation of fog
- Temperature: (6utc)=-13°C (18utc)=-5°C.
01/08/10 - day 3
- wind: S 3-7kt, after 9 utc becoming less than 5kt from SE
- Weather: further increasing cloudiness resulting in some slight snow fall
- Temperature: (6utc)=-9°C (18utc)=-3°C.
