Latest satellite image from the polar orbiting satellite noaa-19. This satellite circles at about an altitude of averagely 870km and it takes about 100 minutes to make one orbit. It was launched on the 6th of February 2009, which makes it the youngest noaa polar orbiting satellite (c) Weather Office Canada

General
This mornings satellite image shows a quite extensive cloud cover to the East of the Neem site. According to the model output that cloud cover should remain there and so today will be a Sun-ny-day!

27/06/10 - day 1
- Wind: SE 4-8kt, a little increasing to 10-15kt.
- Weather: sunny with only temporarily some scattered cloud.
- Temperature: Min06utc=-14c dayMax(18utc)=-6C
 
28/06/10 - day 2

- Wind: SSE 5-10kt, after 15/18utc decreasing to SE 3-8kt.
- Weather possibly some shallow fog patches but soon clearing (after 9/12utc) remaining hazy/misty. After 18/21utc in general increasing moisture which probably will weaken the sunlight.
- Temperature: (6utc)=-16°C (18utc)=-8°C.
 
29/06/10 - day 3
- Wind: SE 4-8kt, after18/21utc becoming E to ESE 8-12kt
- Weather: shallow fog patches, weak sunny periods due to thin cloud cover, temporarily thickening.
- Temperature: (6utc)=-16°C (18utc)=-8°C
