PolarIce10-Kite trip from Hahn Glacier to Ilulissat – day 3 – 8 April 10
At this moment the weather conditions at the Glacier are almost perfect. However tomorrow a frontal system with rain and snow comes from the Atlantic (see image above) and generates poor conditions over the Hahn Glacier. The next few days nice periods are altered by poor spells.

Wind: N8-12kt, decreasing to 5kt
Wx: sunny spells, soon overcast, later rain/snow
Temp:-12C becoming -4°C
10april
Wind: variable dir (VAR) less 5kt increasing to 4-8kt
Wx: overcast with snow/rain
Temp: between -2 and -5°C
11april
Wind: VAR less than 5kt no significant change (nsc)
Wx: enlarging sunny spells, good conditions
Temp: between -10 and -15C
