The team is working between camp 1 and camp 2, which basicly means between 6400 and 7100 meter. On the satellite picture you can see the tropical activity in the Inter Tropical Convergence Zone. Those tropical convective cells move from East to West, to the South of the Himalaya. Over the Himalay you can spot some convective activity as well. This can lead to snow showers from tomorrow onwards.

good and stable, patchy cloudiness with sunny periods. General good conditions.
Wind conditions:
the wind is pretty weak, average speed: 3-6m/s. No significant change.
Temperatures:
Maximum: -4/-6°C  Minima: -10/-12°C
 
Tomorrow, 20 september 2009
General weather conditions:
overnight more cloudiness came over and the risk of shower increases. During showers, visibilitity and contrast becomes poor
Wind conditions:
Still the wind is pretty weak, average speed: 3-6m/s. No significant change.
Temperatures:
Maximum: -5/-7°C  Minima: -12/-15°C

General weather conditions:
in general very cloudy to overcast, with now and than periods of snow or snow showers. In general poor conditions, visibility and contrast
Wind conditions:
The wind remains rather weak, average speed: 3-6m/s. No significant change. But in combination with low temperatures (wind chill): danger frostbite.
Temperatures:
Maximum: -6/-8°C  Minima: -13/-16°C
