Hi Geoff,
it looks like today is going to be a pretty wild day! Sometropical showery activity with heavy down pours and risk for flooding!
On top of that in the vicinity of those Cumulonimbus clouds, severe and randm gusts can strike unexpectedly. This spell should extend overnight, however gradually becoming less active. Tomorrow (29th) still a few showers but gradually dying off and some sunny spells develop.
Pretty hard to set out an estimated track with timing but made this forecast for the stretch between St-Louis and Dakar, trying to estimate how you would progress.
All the best and take care.

Wind: 330-360° 4-8kt (average wind). After 15utc becoming weak and variable again. But heavy gusts may appear any moment! Overnight turning to SE (140-160°)
